Discovery® Cyano HPLC Column, 5 µm particle size, L x I.D. 12.5 cm x 4 mm

The Discovery Cyano HPLC column 125x4.0mm, 5µm, has a cyano modification with polar and moderately hydrophobic characteristics. The Discovery Cyano can be used for both reversed-phase and normal-phase methods. The Discovery Cyano is used for polar organic compounds, basic analytes, pharmaceutical intermediates and separations that are not sufficiently selective with alkyl phases.

Additional Information

The Discovery Series includes various material platforms and surface chemistries. In addition to classic silica-based reverse-phase columns, high-purity HS phases, pentafluorophenyl, RP-amide, and PEG selectivities, as well as zirconia-based phases, are available. Bio-Wide-Pore variants with larger pores are designed for peptides and proteins. This makes Discovery particularly well-suited for method development when standard C18 selectivity is insufficient or more robust surfaces are required.
