Product Description

The Discovery HS F5 HPLC column 50x4.6mm, 3µm, is based on a pentafluorophenylpropyl modification. The Discovery HS F5 provides dipole, π-π, ionic and hydrophobic interactions and can particularly differentiate halogenated, aromatic or polar molecules. Typical applications of the Discovery HS F5 are pesticides, pharmaceutical impurities, isomers, metabolites and LC-MS methods.

Additional Information

The Discovery Series includes various material platforms and surface chemistries. In addition to classic silica-based reverse-phase columns, high-purity HS phases, pentafluorophenyl, RP-amide, and PEG selectivities, as well as zirconia-based phases, are available. Bio-Wide-Pore variants with larger pores are designed for peptides and proteins. This makes Discovery particularly well-suited for method development when standard C18 selectivity is insufficient or more robust surfaces are required.
