Product Description

The InertCore Plus C18 HPLC column 50x3.0mm, 2.6µm, is based on an octydecylsilyl phase (also known as ODS, RP-18, C18) on a core-shell material for reverse-phase chromatography. Due to the hydrophobic interactions of the InertCore Plus C18, nonpolar compounds are significantly retained. As a result, this HPLC column can be used as a standard column. Typical applications include pharmaceutical analysis, environmental analysis, and food analysis.

Features and Benefits

  • Core-shell particles for fast methods
  • UHPLC performance on HPLC systems
  • High efficiency
  • Low backpressure

Additional Information

The InertCore series consists of a core-shell material. This means that the particles have a non-porous core and a porous shell. This particle design results in high efficiency combined with low backpressure. As a result, UHPLC performance is possible on an HPLC system. This makes these columns ideal for anyone who wants to get more performance out of an existing system or speed up a method. The service life can be extended by using appropriate precolumn cartridges.
