The InertSustain AG HPLC column 100x4.6mm, 3µm, is based on an octadecylsilyl phase (also known as ODS, RP-18, C18) on specially surface-modified InertSustain silica. The phase complies with USP Class L1 and is used in reverse-phase chromatography. InertSustain AG is designed as a specialized HPLC column for the analysis of pentosidine. To ensure the accurate analysis of pentosidine, a Pentosidine Analysis Report is provided along with the certificate of analysis. Thanks to its controlled InertSustain surface, InertSustain AG can be used within a recommended pH range of 1 to 10. Typical applications include methods for pentosidine determination, where documented column performance, reproducible retention times, and stable peak shapes are important.
The InertSustain series features a specially modified silica. This allows for precise control of the properties of the silica matrix. In addition, the columns exhibit high pH stability. As with the established Inertsil series, the InertSustain materials also demonstrate very high inertness toward all analytes—a phenomenon also referred to as base deactivation. Furthermore, these materials exhibit very low backpressure while maintaining high efficiencies. The service life can be extended by using appropriate pre-column cartridges.
