Product Description

The EluCLEAN PFAS GCB/WAX (stacked) SPE cartridge 6ml/50/200mg places graphitised carbon before the polymeric WAX sorbent. Due to this reversed layer sequence compared with WAX/GCB, the extract first encounters the GCB clean-up zone and then the weak anion exchanger. EluCLEAN PFAS GCB/WAX (stacked) is particularly intended for complex solid or biological matrices where early removal of strongly adsorbing co‑extractives is advantageous. The cartridge supports PFAS workflows according to US EPA 1633 and other environmental standards. EluCLEAN PFAS GCB/WAX (stacked) reduces several manual clean-up steps to a defined dual‑SPE setup.

Additional Notes

The EluCLEAN series comprises several different sorbent platforms and therefore does not have a uniform silica-based structure. The portfolio includes proprietary universal sorbents, weak anion exchangers based on mixed-mode polymers, polystyrene/divinylbenzene, graphitized carbon, and combined WAX/GCB structures. A polymeric reverse-phase sorbent is used for the 6PPD-Q. The selection depends on the analytes, matrix, sample volume, and applicable standard. Particular attention should be paid to suitable blank controls and PFAS-low instruments and consumables, especially when analyzing PFAS.
