The ToyoScreen C-IEC screening columns combine CM-650M, SP-650M, SP-550C, GigaCap S-650M and GigaCap CM-650M in a comparative set. The chromatographic application area is cation exchange chromatography. Weak carboxymethyl and strong sulfopropyl or sulfonate chemistries present different pH dependencies, pore structures and capacity profiles. ToyoScreen C-IEC is used for parallel resin screening of positively charged biomolecules in capture, intermediate purification and polishing steps.
