In ToyoScreen SP-550C, the process resin TOYOPEARL SP-550C with sulfopropyl groups is used in a reproducibly prepacked screening format. The intended application area is strong cation exchange chromatography. The 100 µm particles and 50 nm pores are geared towards high throughput for smaller to medium-sized biomolecules. ToyoScreen SP-550C is suitable for scale-down and design-space studies for peptides, proteins and enzymes.

The classic 1- and 5-mL columns are suitable for manual or automated method development; RoboColumns enable parallel experiments in liquid-handling systems.
