Product Description

The EluCLEAN PFAS WAX/GCB (mixed) SPE cartridge 6ml/150/10mg combines a polymeric weak anion exchanger with graphitised carbon in a mixed sorbent bed. WAX provides enrichment of ionic PFAS, while GCB retains pigments and other strongly adsorbing matrix components. EluCLEAN PFAS WAX/GCB (mixed) is used for aqueous and solid environmental samples and is available in configurations such as 150/10 mg or 200/50 mg. By combining extraction and carbon clean-up in a single cartridge, EluCLEAN PFAS WAX/GCB (mixed) can significantly simplify separate dispersive GCB work steps in procedures such as US EPA 1633.

Features and Benefits

  • Matrix-specific SPE configurations
  • PFAS-optimized sorbents
  • 6-mL cartridge format
  • For standard and routine procedures
  • Manual and automatable

Additional Notes

The EluCLEAN series comprises several different sorbent platforms and therefore does not have a uniform silica-based structure. The portfolio includes proprietary universal sorbents, weak anion exchangers based on mixed-mode polymers, polystyrene/divinylbenzene, graphitized carbon, and combined WAX/GCB structures. A polymeric reverse-phase sorbent is used for the 6PPD-Q. The selection depends on the analytes, matrix, sample volume, and applicable standard. Particular attention should be paid to suitable blank controls and PFAS-low instruments and consumables, especially when analyzing PFAS.
