Product Description

The TSKgel Amide-80Guardgel kits are used to protect phase-identical TSKgel HPLC columns. The holder 19018 is used as the support.

Features and Benefits

  • Virtually all LC separation mechanisms under one brand
  • Silica and polymer materials for small molecules through biopolymers
  • Graded pore sizes for SEC and GPC
  • Analytical, UHPLC, and semipreparative formats
  • Co-phase protective systems for many product lines

Additional Information

The TSKgel product line includes silica-based and polymer-based packing materials for size-exclusion chromatography, gel permeation chromatography, reverse-phase chromatography, HILIC, ion-exchange chromatography, hydrophobic interaction chromatography, and affinity chromatography. Silica is primarily used for highly efficient SEC and RP columns. Hydrophilic polymethacrylates enable aqueous SEC and bioseparations, while polystyrene-divinylbenzene covers organic GPC. Non-porous particles provide particularly fast mass transport; porous particles, on the other hand, offer higher capacity or a defined molecular weight range. Selecting the appropriate pre-column or cartridge extends its service life, but it must always be compatible with the specific TSKgel family and ID.
