The Waters XSelect CSH Fluoro-Phenyl HPLC-/UHPLC column 150x3.0mm, 3.5µm, is constructed on CSH hybrid particles and features a fluorinated phenyl modification. The Waters XSelect CSH Fluoro-Phenyl is intended for use in reversed-phase chromatography. The non-endcapped fluorinated surface increases retention of acidic compounds and maximises selectivity differences. Typical applications of the Waters XSelect CSH Fluoro-Phenyl include acidic and basic active substances, halogenated analytes, PFAS-related methods, isomers and screening methods.
XSelect combines two deliberately different particle platforms. CSH uses a BEH hybrid framework with a controlled positive surface charge and is specifically designed to provide good peak shapes and increased loading capacity for basic compounds. HSS is based on high-strength silica and often provides stronger retention as well as different selectivities than BEH or CSH phases. C18, phenyl-hexyl, fluoro-phenyl, T3, PFP, and cyano offer a broad range of method development options; specialized peptide phases extend these concepts to bioanalytical separations.
