The Waters XBridge BEH Shield RP18 HPLC/UHPLC column 20x3.0mm, 2.5µm, is built on BEH hybrid particles and possesses an embedded polar group in an octadecylsilyl phase (other designations: ODS, RP-18, C18). The Waters XBridge BEH Shield RP18 is intended for use in reversed-phase chromatography. The Shield-RP18 chemistry offers alternative selectivity to alkyl-C18 phases and improves basic peak shapes near neutral pH.
