The Waters BioSuite series combines silica-based and polymethacrylate-based materials for protein and peptide analysis. C18-PA phases are silica-based reverse-phase columns for peptides, while SEC phases use diol-modified silica. HIC and ion-exchange phases use polymeric methacrylate matrices to support native protein separations and good recovery.
