CrossTOX® columns for Mycotoxin Screening via LC-MS/MS 100 pcs/pck

The CrossTOX SPE cartridge was developed for the simultaneous clean-up of a broad spectrum of mycotoxins prior to LC-MS/MS analysis. Among others, CrossTOX can process aflatoxins B1, B2, G1 and G2, ochratoxin A, fumonisins, deoxynivalenol, nivalenol, zearalenone, T-2, HT-2, citrinin and several DON derivatives in a single workflow. The non-dispersive QuEChERS principle avoids a separate shaking and centrifugation of the clean-up sorbent. Sample volumes of 0.5 to 3 mL correspond to approximately 0.6 g matrix; for validated food and feed matrices recoveries of at least 85 % are reported. CrossTOX is available for both manual syringe processing and automated high-throughput workflows.

CrossTOX does not use analyte-specific antibodies, but rather an SPE-based, non-dispersive QuEChERS approach. The sorbent configuration is designed for broad matrix depletion while ensuring the recovery of structurally diverse mycotoxins. Thanks to the compact 3-cm SMART format, sample and solvent volumes remain low. CrossTOX can be used manually or automatically, from the crude extract to the purified vial; with the FREESTYLE CrossTOX, direct transfer to LC-MS/MS analysis is also possible. The exact extraction and loading procedures depend on the matrix and the validated CrossTOX protocol.
