Benson BP-100 Pb Guard Column, 6%, 50 mm x 4.6 mm, 16 µm

The Bensons BP-100 Pb guard columns 50x4.6mm are used to protect Benson HPLC columns. Benson Guard Columns are pre-packed columns. No separate holder is required. The selection of the appropriate Benson pre-column is based on the series, counterion, degree of cross-linking, length, ID and the analytical column to be protected.

Benson columns are based on sulfonated styrene-divinylbenzene polymers with various counterions and degrees of cross-linking. The BP-100 series is typically associated with 6% cross-linking, while the BP-700 and BP-800 series represent more highly cross-linked variants designed for different selectivity and robustness requirements. Depending on the counterion, sugars, sugar alcohols, organic acids, or alcoholic byproducts are separated.
