Product Description

The HALO 1.000Å Oligo C18 pre-column cartridges 5x2.1mm, 2.7µm, are used to protect HALO 1.000Å Oligo C18 HPLC columns with an inner diameter of 2.1mm. The 94900-001 direct mount is used as the precolumn holder.

Features and Benefits

  • Core-shell particles for fast methods
  • Inert hardware for reduced adsorption of analytes
  • High pH stability (pH 9 at 85°C) due to organosilane modification
  • UHPLC performance on HPLC systems
  • High efficiency
  • Low backpressure

Additional Information

The HALO Oligo series is based on a core-shell material. This means that the particles have a non-porous core and a porous shell. This allows for high efficiency while maintaining low backpressure. As a result, UHPLC performance is possible using a standard HPLC system. A special modification of the silica surface using organosilane compounds results in high pH stability of up to 9 at 85°C. In addition to this high pH stability, the hardware of the HALO Oligo Series is made of inert stainless steel. This prevents interactions between analytes and the stainless steel walls. The service life can be extended by using compatible pre-column cartridges.
