MZ-Gel SDplus LS 10.000 Å 5µm 300x4,6mm SEC / GPC Columns

The MZ-Gel SDplus LS 10E4Å column 300x4.6mm, 5µm, is based on a highly cross-linked polystyrene-divinylbenzene (PS/DVB). This material is used in GPC. Due to a special post-treatment of the material, the phase exhibits extremely low phase bleeding. This makes the phase suitable for use with a light scattering detector (LS, MALS). The linear molecular weight range is 4,000–500,000 g/mol, and the cut-off is 700,000 g/mol. Thus, the phase is suitable for medium-sized polymers such as polystyrenes, PEG, polyvinyl chlorides, polyurethanes, and polyvinyl acetates.

The MZ-Gel SDplus LS series consists of a highly cross-linked polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymer designed for organic size-exclusion chromatography (SEC) or gel permeation chromatography (GPC). Thanks to a special post-treatment process, this series exhibits extremely low phase bleeding, making it ideal for light scattering detection (LS, MALS). Compatibility with many organic solvents in addition to THF, such as DMF, chloroform, and acetone, allows for the analysis of a wide variety of polymers. The service life can be extended by using appropriate pre-columns.
