MZ-Gel SDplus LS 500 Å 3µm 50x8,0mm SEC / GPC Guard Columns

The MZ-Gel SDplus LS 500Å pre-columns 50x8.0mm, 3µm are used to protect MZ-Gel SDplus LS 500Å columns with an inner diameter of 8.0mm. These precolumns are ready-to-use hardware and do not require a holder. Installation can be performed either with the AP5101 column coupler or using a short piece of capillary tubing. We recommend selecting the same pore size for the precolumn as the smallest pore size in the main column series.

The MZ-Gel SDplus LS series consists of a highly cross-linked polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymer designed for organic size-exclusion chromatography (SEC) or gel permeation chromatography (GPC). Thanks to a special post-treatment process, this series exhibits extremely low phase bleeding, making it ideal for light scattering detection (LS, MALS). Compatibility with many organic solvents in addition to THF, such as DMF, chloroform, and acetone, allows for the analysis of a wide variety of polymers. The service life can be extended by using appropriate pre-columns.
