Product Description

The PerfectSil 300 Diol column 250x10mm, 5µm, is a diol column that can be used in both reversed phase and normal-phase chromatography. However, it is more commonly used in normal-phase chromatography. PerfectSil 300 Diol can be used as a replacement for PerfectSil 300 Sil. The selectivity is comparable, but the PerfectSil 300 Diol has shorter equilibration times. The large pores of 300Å allow the PerfectSil 300 Diol to be used for the analysis of large compounds such as proteins, large peptides, and large natural products.

The PerfectSil 300 series was specially developed for the separation of biomolecules. The 300Å pores allow proteins to penetrate the pore system. This enables small peptides through to complex proteins to be separated and retained on the PerfectSil 300 columns. The high-purity silica gel and stable modification also allow use in LC/MS. The service life can be increased by using suitable pre-column cartridges.
