The PerfectChrom 100 Phenyl HPLC column 300x4.6mm, 5µm, is a phenyl phase for reverse-phase chromatography. The phenyl groups can form dipole-dipole, π-π, and hydrophobic interactions. This gives the PerfectChrom 100 Phenyl exceptional selectivity for aromatic and unsaturated compounds. With this exceptional selectivity for aromatics and unsaturated compounds, this phase is used in pharmaceutical analysis, environmental analysis, and natural product analysis.

Additional Notes
The PerfectChrom series is based on a Type A silica gel. This means that some transition metals are present in the silica framework. As a result, the silanol groups are more acidic, which can lead to different interactions compared to modern Type B silica gels. The service life can be extended by using appropriate pre-column cartridges.
