Product Description

The PerfectChrom 100 C18 HPLC column 100x8.0mm, 5µm, is a standard octadecylsilyl phase (also known as ODS, RP-18, C18) for reverse-phase chromatography. Hydrophobic interactions are primarily observed, which significantly retard hydrophobic analytes. Polar analytes elute very quickly from the column, as polar interactions are strongly limited by additional end-capping. The PerfectChrom 100 C18 phase can be used, for example, in pharmaceutical analysis, environmental analysis, food analysis, or pesticide and residue analysis.

Additional Notes

The PerfectChrom series is based on a Type A silica gel. This means that some transition metals are present in the silica framework. As a result, the silanol groups are more acidic, which can lead to different interactions compared to modern Type B silica gels. The service life can be extended by using appropriate pre-column cartridges.
