Product Description

The PerfectSil 120 C8 HPLC column 150x10mm, 5µm, features an octasilyl modification (also known as OS, RP-8, C8) for reverse-phase chromatography. The interactions are primarily hydrophobic in nature, and the selectivity is very comparable to C18 phases. Due to its lower hydrophobicity compared to the PerfectSil 120 ODS phase, nonpolar analytes elute earlier. Similar to a C18 phase, the PerfectSil 120 C8 can be used, for example, in pharmaceutical analysis, environmental analysis, food analysis, or pesticide and residue analysis.

Features and Benefits

  • Perfectly spherical
  • Large surface area for more demanding separations
  • High-purity silica gel
  • High reproducibility
  • Compatible with conventional HPLC systems

Additional Information

The PerfectSil series is based on high-purity Type B silica gel. This ensures that it meets the requirements of modern separation techniques. Thanks to a wide range of modifications, the PerfectSil series can be used for a broad spectrum of separations. Using compatible pre-column cartridges can extend the service life.
