PerfectSil 120 C4 3µm 150x3,9mm HPLC Column

The PerfectSil 120 C4 HPLC column 150x3.9mm, 3µm, features a butyl modification that can be used in reverse-phase chromatography. The PerfectSil 120 C4 can be used when retention with a C18 or C8 phase is too long and the analyte does not elute. This is particularly useful for small proteins and peptides. Due to the short chains, interactions with the silica framework and thus polar interactions are possible, meaning that the selectivity of PerfectSil 120 C4 may differ from that of C18 or C8 phases. Because of its low hydrophobicity, highly hydrophobic analytes such as steroids, lipophilic metabolites, or small peptides and proteins can be analyzed.
