The PerfectSil 200 ODS HPLC column 100x3.9mm, 5µm, is a standard octadecylsilyl-modified column (also known as ODS, RP-18, C18) with larger pores for reverse-phase chromatography. The medium-sized pores of 200 Å are particularly well-suited for medium-sized peptides. While smaller peptides are separated using a 120 Å HPLC column and large peptides or proteins using a 300 Å column, medium-sized peptides can be analyzed exceptionally well with the PerfectSil 200 ODS. The surface area is larger compared to 300 Å options and therefore offers higher separation performance. In addition to medium-sized peptides, the PerfectSil 200 ODS is also suitable for other applications that benefit from larger pores. These include, for example, pharmaceutical analysis, environmental analysis, food analysis, and pesticide and residue analysis.
The PerfectSil series is based on high-purity Type B silica gel. This ensures that it meets the requirements of modern separation techniques. Thanks to a wide range of modifications, the PerfectSil series can be used for a broad spectrum of separations. Using compatible pre-column cartridges can extend the service life.
