Product Description
The PerfectSil 120 CN HPLC column 125x4.0mm, 5µm, features a cyano functional group that can be used in both normal-phase and reverse-phase chromatography. The CN group provides dipole-dipole and π-π interactions, and the hydrophobic linker additionally offers weak hydrophobic interactions. This results in orthogonal selectivity compared to a C18 phase. PerfectSil 120 CN is particularly suitable for compounds with free electron pairs or aromatics, such as aldehydes, ketones, nitriles, or heterocycles.
