Product Description

The PerfectSil 120 Diol HPLC column 250x8.0mm, 10µm, is an HPLC column that can be used in both reverse-phase and normal-phase chromatography. However, its use in normal-phase chromatography is more common. The PerfectSil 120 Diol can be used in normal-phase chromatography as a replacement for the PerfectSil 120 Sil. The selectivity remains comparable, but the PerfectSil 120 Diol exhibits significantly shorter retention times. The diol phase can be used, for example, in lipid and fat analysis, but applications that run on unmodified silica, such as fat-soluble vitamins and natural products, can also be separated.
