The PerfectBond Ph-H HPLC column 250x4.6mm, 5µm, is based on phenyl groups and is used in reverse-phase chromatography. Dipole-dipole, π-π, and hydrophobic interactions are enabled by the phenyl groups of the PerfectBond Ph-H and provide exceptional selectivity for aromatic and unsaturated compounds. This exceptional selectivity differs from that of C18 phases due to various interactions. Thus, PerfectBond Ph-H is ideally suited for pharmaceutical analysis, environmental analysis, and natural product analysis.
The PerfectBond series is based on high-purity, spherical Type B silica gel and thus meets the requirements of modern separations. Thanks to the comparable selectivity and retention of the PerfectBond series, many traditional materials—some of which consist of irregular particles—can be replaced with modern, more efficient HPLC columns. This allows methods to be modernized with minimal effort. Using appropriate precolumn cartridges can extend the service life.
