PerfectSil Target CN-3 5µm 250x4,6mm HPLC Column

The PerfectSil Target C8-3 column 250x4.6mm, 5µm, is a cyano-based phase that can be used in both normal-phase and reversed-phase chromatography. The CN group enables dipole-dipole and π-π interactions, as well as weak hydrophobic interactions due to the hydrophobic linker. As a result, this phase exhibits different selectivity compared to C18 phases. Cyano columns can be used in particular for compounds with free electron pairs or aromatics, such as aldehydes, ketones, nitriles, or heterocyclic compounds.
