Product Description

The PerfectSil 100 CN-3 HPLC column 250x40mm, 5µm, is a cyano column that can be used in both normal-phase and reverse-phase modes. The CN group allows for dipole-dipole and π-π interactions. In addition, the hydrophobic linker enables weak hydrophobic interactions. This results in an alternative selectivity compared to C18 phases. The PerfectSil 100 CN-3 is particularly suitable for compounds with free electron pairs or aromatics, such as aldehydes, ketones, nitriles, or heterocyclic compounds.
