Product Description
The PerfectSil 100 Sil HPLC column 250x4.6mm, 5µm, is an unmodified silica phase used in normal-phase chromatography. The interactions in the PerfectSil 100 Sil are based on the adsorption of analytes onto the surface. Polar analytes are retained more strongly than nonpolar ones. Since nonpolar solvents such as hexane are used in normal-phase chromatography, nonpolar compounds such as lipids in food analysis or fat-soluble vitamins (vitamins A, D, E, and K) can be analyzed.
