Product Description

The HALO LPH-C18 90Å HPLC column 50x3.0mm,2.7µm, is an octadecylsilyl phase (also known as ODS, RP-18, C18) with a core-shell particle for reverse-phase chromatography. The isobutyl side chains of the HALO LPH-C18 enable pH stability in the strongly acidic range. As a result, the HPLC column is stable over a pH range of 1 to 8, with hydrophobic interactions responsible for retention. Due to its improved pH stability in the acidic range, the column is particularly suitable for applications in acidic conditions, such as those involving polyphenols, catechins, cannabinoids, and pesticides.

Features and Benefits

  • Core-shell particles for fast methods
  • UHPLC performance on HPLC systems
  • High efficiency
  • Low backpressure

Additional Notes

The HALO Series is based on a core-shell material. This means that the particles have a non-porous core and a porous shell. This allows for high efficiency while maintaining low backpressure. As a result, UHPLC performance is possible with a standard HPLC system. This makes the HALO Series an attractive option for laboratories that require maximum performance with the shortest possible retention times. The service life can be extended by using appropriate pre-column cartridges.
