Product Description

The HALO AQ-C18 90Å HPLC column 150x1.5mm, 2.7µm, features an octadecylsilyl modification (also known as ODS, RP-18, C18) as well as an additional polar ligand on the core-shell particle. This polar ligand enables the use of 100% aqueous mobile phases with the HALO AQ-C18 in reverse-phase chromatography. As a result, polar compounds can also be retained more effectively. The phase is particularly well-suited for pesticides, nucleobases, neurotransmitters, and polar acids, for example.

Features and Benefits

  • Core-shell particles for fast methods
  • UHPLC performance on HPLC systems
  • High efficiency
  • Low backpressure

Additional Notes

The HALO Series is based on a core-shell material. This means that the particles have a non-porous core and a porous shell. This allows for high efficiency while maintaining low backpressure. As a result, UHPLC performance is possible with a standard HPLC system. This makes the HALO Series an attractive option for laboratories that require maximum performance with the shortest possible retention times. The service life can be extended by using appropriate pre-column cartridges.
