Product Description

The HALO Penta-HILIC 90Å HPLC column 100x1.5mm, 2.7µm, features a modification with five hydroxy groups and is therefore classified according to USP L95 and suitable for hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC). In addition to polar interactions, weak hydrophobic interactions can also play a role due to the linker, thereby providing an alternative selectivity for HILIC. Due to the special modification of HALO Penta-HILIC, this phase exhibits excellent peak shapes for basic compounds. Therefore, this phase can be used, for example, for antidepressants, beta-blockers, cephalosporins, drugs, sugars, or for nucleosides, nucleotides, and nucleobases.

The HALO Series is based on a core-shell material. This means that the particles have a non-porous core and a porous shell. This allows for high efficiency while maintaining low backpressure.
