Product Description

The HALO 120Å Elevate C18 precolumn cartridges 5x4.6mm, 2.7µm, are used to protect HALO 120Å Elevate C18 HPLC columns with an inner diameter of 4.6mm. The 94900-001 direct mount is used as the precolumn holder.

Features and Benefits

  • Core-shell particles for fast methods
  • High pH stability (2–12 at 60°C) due to organosilane modification
  • UHPLC performance on HPLC systems
  • High efficiency
  • Low backpressure

Additional Information

The HALO Elevate series is based on a core-shell material. This means that the particles have a non-porous core and a porous shell. This allows for high efficiency while maintaining low backpressure. As a result, UHPLC performance is possible with a standard HPLC system. A special modification of the silica surface using organosilane compounds results in high pH stability ranging from 2 to 12 at 60°C. This wide pH range can be used to analyze basic compounds in their neutral, uncharged state, leading to better peak shapes and higher loading capacity for basic compounds. The service life can be extended by using appropriate precolumn cartridges.
