The HALO RP-Amide 90Å HPLC column 30x3.0mm, 2µm, consists of a C16 chain with polar groups embedded in a core-shell material. Thanks to the embedded polar groups, this phase can be used with 100% aqueous mobile phases in reverse-phase chromatography. The polar groups of the HALO RP-Amide also allow for polar interactions in addition to hydrophobic ones, resulting in specific selectivities compared to a standard C18 phase. HALO RP-Amide is therefore suitable, for example, for alcohols, acids, phenols, and catechins.
