Product Description

The InertSustain NH2 HPLC column 150x4.6mm, 10µm, is based on an amino modification that is attached to the silica via a propyl linker. In addition, the silica is specially modified to achieve high inertness. Thanks to the amino group, the InertSustain NH2 can be used in normal-phase and reverse-phase chromatography, as well as in hydrophilic interaction chromatography. A major advantage of the InertSustain NH2 is that it can be manufactured with extremely high reproducibility. This eliminates problems with unstable retention times. Typical applications of this phase include, for example, the analysis of sugars or vitamin E.

Additional Notes

The InertSustain series features a specially modified silica. This allows for precise control of the properties of the silica matrix. In addition, the columns exhibit high pH stability. As with the established Inertsil series, the InertSustain materials also demonstrate very high inertness toward all analytes—a phenomenon also referred to as base deactivation. Furthermore, these materials exhibit very low backpressure while maintaining high efficiencies. The service life can be extended by using appropriate pre-column cartridges.
