Product Description

The InertSustain Phenyl HPLC column 150x3.9mm, 5µm, features a phenyl group as a modification for reverse-phase chromatography. Unlike many other phenyl phases, the phenyl group in the InertSustain Phenyl is directly bonded to the silica and has no linker. This makes the column particularly suitable for the analysis of structural isomers that cannot be separated on other alkyl-phenyl phases. In addition, the silica framework is specially modified to ensure high inertness. Typical applications for this phase include the pharmaceutical industry, environmental analysis, food analysis, and residue analysis.

Additional Notes

The InertSustain series features a specially modified silica. This allows for precise control of the properties of the silica matrix. In addition, the columns exhibit high pH stability. As with the established Inertsil series, the InertSustain materials also demonstrate very high inertness toward all analytes—a phenomenon also referred to as base deactivation. Furthermore, these materials exhibit very low backpressure while maintaining high efficiencies. The service life can be extended by using appropriate pre-column cartridges.
