Product Description

The Inertsil Hybrid C18 HPLC column 75x2.1mm, 5µm, is based on an octydecylsilyl phase (also known as ODS, RP-18, C18) for reverse-phase chromatography. The backbone of this phase is based on an organic-inorganic hybrid material. This allows the Inertsil Hybrid C18 to be used at pH values ranging from 1.0 to 12.0. Thanks to its high pH stability, bases can be analyzed in their neutral state and thus experience greater retention. Additionally, the use of 100% aqueous mobile phases is possible, which also allows for the retention of more polar substances. Typical applications include all methods that benefit from a high pH or in which bases are to be analyzed, such as antihistamines, antidepressants, nucleoside-based drugs, or guanine-based antiviral drugs.
