The cartridges contain a packing material compatible with the analytical column and protect the main column from particles, matrix components, and highly retained impurities. They are suitable for routine and method development applications in HPLC and LC/MS when longer column life and stable chromatographic performance are desired. The matching holder 5020-08500 serves as the pre-column holder.
