The InertSustain C30 HPLC column 100x14mm, 5µm, features a C30 chain on a surface-modified silica particle. As a result, the phase is suitable for reverse-phase chromatography. Thanks to the surface modification, the InertSustain C30 exhibits high inertness. With its long chains, this HPLC column also exhibits high stereoselectivity. This allows structurally very similar compounds, such as fatty acid methyl esters (cis, trans) or carotenoids, to be separated from one another.
The InertSustain series features a specially modified silica. This allows for precise control of the properties of the silica matrix. In addition, the columns exhibit high pH stability. As with the established Inertsil series, the InertSustain materials also demonstrate very high inertness toward all analytes—a phenomenon also referred to as base deactivation. Furthermore, these materials exhibit very low backpressure while maintaining high efficiencies. The service life can be extended by using appropriate pre-column cartridges.
