InertSustain C18 5µm column 4.6 x 250mm HPLC Column

The InertSustain C18 HPLC column 250x4.6mm, 5µm, is based on an octydecylsilyl phase (also known as ODS, RP-18, C18) for reverse-phase chromatography. Through an additional modification of the particle surface, the properties of the silica can be precisely controlled. This enables the use of the InertSustain C18 HPLC column at high pH values (1–10). In addition, this phase is characterized by high inertness, low backpressure, and high efficiencies. As a standard C18 column, the InertSustain C18 can be used in many common applications, such as the pharmaceutical industry, food analysis, and environmental analysis.

Additional Notes

The InertSustain series features a specially modified silica. This allows for precise control of the properties of the silica matrix. In addition, the columns exhibit high pH stability. As with the established Inertsil series, the InertSustain materials also demonstrate very high inertness toward all analytes—a phenomenon also referred to as base deactivation. Furthermore, these materials exhibit very low backpressure while maintaining high efficiencies. The service life can be extended by using appropriate pre-column cartridges.
